Professional Horticulturist & Speaker

I’m a 31-year-old graduate with a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in Horticulture from Pershore College/University of Worcester. I’m a professional horticulturist, working in ornamental plant production with a keen interest in all things plants, new introductions and the production and sales of plants to both wholesale and retail markets.

I have recently taken on the role of Head of Horticulture (Curriculum & Commercial) at Pershore College/WCG, where I still have oversight of the College’s wholesale nursery, garden centre and horticultural therapy centre, but will begin to look at wider horticultural development, full-cost-recovery courses and the promotion of horticulture within the wider industry. Other responsibilities involve managing the Plant Heritage National Collections at Pershore, being Treasurer of The Chartered Institute of Horticulture WMSW branch and being Secretary of the Worcestershire Group of Plant Heritage.

I am also a horticultural speaker to gardening clubs and societies in the local area. See my ‘Talks’ page for information.
